Who Can Join
Active Support is for anyone age 25 years and up. Younger adults should take a look at the Mad Ferrets
There is no requirement to have been involved in Scouting before joining. All that is required is a willingness to volunteer some time to support Scouting and join in some of the social events.
- Members can participate in any way that suits them and have a desire to give some time and talent to Scouting.
- Specialist skills or Scouting experience are not required.
- There is no membership fee and social events are on a ‘pay to play’ basis.

Who Are We
Active Support is a way for adults to volunteer some time to Scouting in a flexible way that suits them.
Existing leaders are already members and welcome to join in the social events.
- We provide active support to the youth programme
- We give additional flexible support to voluntary leaders and young people
- We have an active and varied social programme
Scouting isn’t just for young people, the adults have fun too.
